Euro Pacific Canada, Inc. is delighted to announce the hiring of Prakash Gowd as Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking. Based in Euro Pacific’s Toronto office, he will be responsible for leading the firm’s investment banking activities in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
Prakash brings over 20 years of extensive knowledge and experience in life sciences, capital markets, and the pharmaceutical industry. He was a highly respected and influential investment analyst with an outstanding eight-year track record in sell-side healthcare equity research. Previously, he leveraged valuable expertise and insights to help guide new product planning and commercial development while at GlaxoSmithKline and as a pharmaceutical consultant.
Prakash recently served as Managing Director at a healthcare strategic advisory firm, as well as Director and Audit Chair of a public drug development company, and as CEO of a private drug discovery platform company. He continues to serve as an Advisor in the Life Science & Healthcare Practice of the MaRS Discovery District.
