Square 1 Bank buys Sand Hill Finance

Square 1 Bank, a commercial bank that serves entrepreneurs and the VC community, said Thursday that it has acquired Sand Hill Finance. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Silicon Valley, Sand Hill Finance is a provider of financing solutions for emerging growth companies.

DURHAM, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Square 1 Bank, the premier banking partner to entrepreneurs and the venture capital community, announced today that it has acquired substantially all of the assets and hired all employees of Sand Hill Finance, LLC, a Silicon Valley-based provider of accounts receivable financing solutions for emerging growth companies.
