PRESS RELEASE

Specialist growth capital investor Oxford Capital has led a major funding round for Linkdex, an award-winning ‘organic marketing’ platform provider. Organic marketing is a rapidly growing discipline which enables businesses to create and promote online content that their customers want to use and share. Oxford Capital joins existing investor Amadeus Capital who backed the business from an early stage. The investment will enable Linkdex to accelerate the commercial roll-out of its platform, generate global sales and increase worldwide marketing activity.

Based in London, UK and New York, US, Linkdex is a web-based, enterprise platform for search engine optimisation (SEO), PR, social, content marketing and business intelligence. Established in 2010, it was originally focused exclusively on SEO but quickly evolved to include powerful tools to enhance online marketing, social media and public relations strategies. Clients purchase annual licenses for the software and pay monthly charges according to the volume of data consumed.

Operating in one of the highest growth segments of online marketing, Linkdex’s clients use its platform to quantify and improve the value of their online content, as well as to identify the most influential authors, publishers and websites in their sectors. It is increasingly recognised as a leading provider of organic marketing services – winning key industry awards in the UK, the United States and Europe in recent months.

Martyn Holman, Investment Director Oxford Capital said:
“With online sales now a critical ingredient for commercial success – effective organic marketing can make all the difference between the winners and losers. We are delighted to have partnered with Linkdex in this exciting market.

“Linkdex already has a well-established customer base which includes leading online marketing agencies and brands. Its ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) business model also provides it with a reliable and growing revenue stream. The company’s management team has an outstanding track record and we believe it has the vision and skill to ‘win the market’ for organic marketing services.”

Mark Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Linkdex said:
“Through the investment process, Oxford Capital helped us gain new insights into our business and refined our strategy. They really understand our space and are a great partner for our next phase of international growth.

“This funding round allows us to accelerate our global distribution and marketing and marks an important step forward in our commercial development. We are very excited about the prospects for further rapid growth in demand for organic marketing services where our platform gives our clients an amazing opportunity to identify and access unique market intelligence.”
