Clayton, Dubilier & Rice acquires Healogics from Metalmark Capital

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has acquired Healogics from Metalmark Capital and Scale Venture Partners. The transaction is valued at approximately $910 million. The business is a wound care services provider.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (“CD&R”) and Healogics Holding Corp. (“Healogics”) announced today that funds managed by CD&R have completed the previously-announced acquisition of Healogics, the largest advanced wound care services provider in the United States, from Metalmark Capital and Scale Venture Partners. The transaction is valued at approximately $910 million. Additional terms were not disclosed.

With approximately $300 million in sales and more than 2,000 employees, Healogics operates nearly 600 hospital outpatient Wound Care Centers®, or roughly one-third of all hospital outpatient wound care centers in the United States, and treated over 215,000 patients in 2013. In addition, the company operates Sechrist Industries, the leading global manufacturer of hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers (“HBOTCs”) used in advanced wound care.
