Darwin Ventures has named Charlie Jadallah a partner. Jadallah was a founder and executive vice president at Merchant e-Solutions working in business development, bank sales and corporate development. He also worked in Oracle’s strategic business development group. Jadallah also spent time at Netscape Communications working on sales and marketing plans and developing the company’s e-commerce initiatives.

Charlie brings enormous strengths to Darwin with more than 34 years of experience and a deep working knowledge of, Strategic Business Development, Strategic Relationships, International Business Development, Budget Prep & Administration, e-commerce/payments, and the financial services sector.
Charlie was a founder and Executive Vice President for Merchant e-Solutions running Business Development, Bank Sales, and Corporate Development. Merchant e-Solutions offers end-to-end payment solutions and was acquired by Cielo in 2012 for $670 million.
Charlie worked in Oracle’s strategic business development group where he was an invaluable resource launching key areas such as, e-commerce, venture capital, and business development initiatives.
Charlie was an early Netscape Communications employee. As Senior Director of Business Development for the global financial services sector Charlie was instrumental in creating and implemented sales and marketing plans and notably crafting Netscape’s e-commerce and payment initiatives.
Charlie began his career at Visa USA/International in various positions including strategic planning, business/product development, operations and information systems.
