Strategic investors joining the round included Robert Bosch Venture Capital of Germany, Huawei Technologies, a global information and communications technology solutions provider and Xilinx Technology Ventures, the investment arm of Silicon Valley-based Xilinx.

Existing investors participating in the round were Amadeus Capital Partners, DFJ Esprit and Foundation Capital.

XMOS will use the funding to extend its reach in multicore technology for embedded applications by expanding customer support and accelerating new product development.
