Google Inc. has acquired PeakStream Inc., a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of software application platforms to the high-performance computing market. No financial terms were disclosed. PeakSteam raised $23 million in total VC funding since its 2005 inception, including a $17 million Series B round last fall.
