The Employees Retirement System of Texas is currently advertising two portfolio manager vacancies. The state pension fund is hiring for a private equity portfolio manager to assist the director of private equity in identifying investment opportunities in U.S. and non-U.S. buyouts, venture capital, distressed debt, control-oriented restructuring, mezzanine, industry specific, secondary, co-investments and other private equity strategies.
ERS is also recruiting for a private markets portfolio manager to evaluate and execute direct, co-investment and primary limited partnership investment opportunities in U.S. and non-U.S. energy, Infrastructure, buyouts, venture capital, control-oriented restructuring, distressed debt, mezzanine, credit, real estate and other strategies.

State Street is looking to fill a private equity fund administration position. The successful candidate will monitor cash and custody activity for a specified list of funds involving complex private equity fund structures and process transactions related to capital calls, capital distributions, expenses, tax checks, investor cash and internal transfers.
