New Mountain Capital has acquired a majority ownership stake in two companies: Dallas-based CenseoHealth, a provider of prospective health assessments for health plans and healthcare delivery organizations; and Chantilly, Virginia-based Advance Health, a provider of prospective health assessment. No financial terms were disclosed. Goldman Sachs was financial adviser to Censeo while TripleTree provided financial advice to Advance Health. And, Deutsche Bank served as financial adviser to New Mountain Capital.
DALLAS, CHANTILLY, Va., and NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — CenseoHealth (“Censeo”) and Advance Health (“Advance”), technology-enabled payer service providers, today announced an investment and recapitalization from New Mountain Capital, LLC (“New Mountain”), a growth-oriented investment firm that currently manages over $20 billion in assets. New Mountain will acquire a majority ownership interest in both Censeo and Advance Health. The transaction is currently anticipated to close before the year end 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The combined company, through a deep network of physicians and nurse practitioners, will provide technology-enabled in-home health assessments nationwide. In addition, the company will provide high acuity health plan members with a range of chronic care management and care coordination services.
