Stephens hires Dearing as MD


Stephens, a financial services firm, has named Steve Dearing as managing director of equity capital markets. Previously, Dearing worked at Imperial Capital where he was a managing director.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Stephens Inc., an independent financial services firm, today announced the hiring of Steve Dearing as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets within its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Dearing will be based in Stephens’ New York office.

Mr. Dearing joins Stephens from Imperial Capital where he served as Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets. With over 30 years of experience in Equity Capital Markets, Mr. Dearing has been instrumental in transactions across a wide range of industries, including transportation, industrial, healthcare, technology, media, energy and real estate. He brings expertise in ancillary ECM products, such as ATMs, buybacks, tender offerings and private placements. In addition, Mr. Dearing has proven track record in building new divisions and expanding business models with an emphasis on service, relationships and teamwork, which are cornerstone to Stephens’ values.
