Audax-backed ICP Group buys Arizona Polymer Flooring


ICP Group, which is backed by Audax Private Equity, has acquired Phoenix-based Arizona Polymer Flooring, a maker of flooring products and concrete coating systems for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. No financial terms were disclosed.

THE COMPANY
Arizona Polymer Flooring, Inc. (“APF”) is a leading manufacturer of high-performance flooring products and concrete coating systems for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Located in Phoenix, AZ, APF produces epoxy-, polyurethane-, and acrylic-based flooring products.

THE DEAL
Innovative Chemical Products Group (“ICP Group”), a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity (“Audax”), has acquired APF, which adds scale to ICP Construction’s existing floor coatings business and provides ICP Group a West Coast manufacturing facility. APF is ICP Group’s 8th acquisition under Audax ownership.

THE THESIS
ICP Group is a leading manufacturer and formulator of coatings, adhesives, and sealants for construction and industrial end markets. ICP Group and Audax continue to pursue acquisitions for each of ICP Group’s three business units: Industrial, Construction, and Adhesives and Sealants.
