Responsibilities include analyzing and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities involving funds, co-investments and secondaries; building and modifying discounted cash flow and LBO valuation models; preparing investment memorandums; presenting recommendations and findings to internal committees and clients; partnering with legal counsel to review deal terms, as well as negotiating and executing investment transactions; and supporting fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include reviewing and/or preparing daily position and cash reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies, preparing and processing general ledger journal entries, preparing capital calls and distribution allocation schedules in accordance with fund documents, and interacting with internal and external auditors providing requested information. Candidates need at least three years of previous financial services experience, preferably in the PE industry. The position is located in Boston.
