WCAS racks up over $2.8 bln for thirteenth fund


Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe has raised over $2.8 billion for the first close of its thirteenth fund, according to an SEC filing. Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe was founded in 1979 and has raised more than $22 billion since its inception. The firm has offices in New York and San Francisco.
