WorkForce Software, which is backed by Insight Venture Partners, has acquired Workplace, an employee scheduling service for retail and hospitality. No financial terms were disclosed. In addition to the transaction, David Farquhar, CEO of Workplace, will become WorkForce Software’s chief operating officer.
