Capital Dynamics wraps up fourth secondaries fund at $564 mln

Capital Dynamics closed its fourth secondaries fund on $564 million, beating its original $350 million target.

Global Secondaries IV will target private equity secondary assets with an emphasis on smaller and “more complex” deals.

The pool secured commitments from 70 LPs in Europe, U.S., Asia and the Middle East. The investors included pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, sovereign plans and family offices.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Capital Dynamics launched its debut secondaries fund in 1992.

Other than the current fund-closing, no information was available about the performance of the’s firm’s previous secondaries funds.
