Berlin-based startup 6Wunderkinder received backing from investor T-Venture, the VC arm of Deutsche Telekom, to foster its international expansion. This additional funding comes just six months after the Berlin-based company raised €500,000 from the High-Tech Gründerfonds. Thomas Grota, Senior Investment Manager of T-Venture, worked on the transaction for the investor.
Berlin: 1 June 2011: German startup 6Wunderkinder is set to boost its already rapid international expansion following an investment from T-Venture, the corporate venture arm of Deutsche Telekom. This additional funding comes just six months after the Berlin-based company raised €500,000 from the High-Tech Gründerfonds.
6Wunderkinder design and develop cloud-based, platform independent, productivity applications from its headquarters in Berlin – Europe’s new centre for hot tech startups. Last year the company launched the massively popular Wunderlist – a task management application that works on most platforms and allows users to make detailed, easy to navigate ‘to do’ lists, which can be shared with friends or colleagues. Its much-anticipated new app Wunderkit is due to launch in the autumn.
