Patrick Clifford, who joined Abernathy MacGregor in 2007, provides strategic communications counsel to leading global investors, including hedge funds, private equity firms and institutional investors. He advises many of the world’s largest and highest-profile investors and their portfolio companies on media relations and reputation management. Patrick graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics and Accounting. Dana Gorman, who has been at the firm for more than 11 years, has led a number of high-profile projects stretching across mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. He has extensive experience advising public and private companies, as well as private equity firms, on reputation initiatives, strategic profile raising efforts, transaction communications and crisis preparation and management. Dana graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish. Kate Murray started her career at Abernathy MacGregor in 2005. After Hurricane Katrina, she moved to New Orleans to help manage the recovery efforts, starting as Communications Director for the New Orleans City Council and ascending to serve as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Council President. Kate returned to Abernathy MacGregor in 2014 and currently advises companies on public and investor relations, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, crises, initial public offerings and complex corporate reorganizations.
