Atraverda, a South Wales-based advanced materials company, has raised Gbp10.4 million in Series B funding. BankInvest New Energy Solutions (Denmark) and Espirito Santo Ventures (Portugal) co-led the round, and were joined by return backers Scottish Equity Partners, Chord Capital, Finance Wales, EnerTech Capital and OnPoint Technologies. Atraverda has developed a platform technology with a range of commercial cleantech applications in the power storage, water treatment and construction markets.
