HLC Equity has acquired Fort Worth, Texas-based Republic Deer Creek Apartments, a multifamily community. HLC Equity used a $25.2M agency loan provided by Bellwether Enterprise and Maverick Commercial Properties under the Freddie Mac program to buy the property.

Arma Partners, an M&A adviser focused on the communications, media and technology sector, has appointed Jeremie Sokolowsky as partner and Bruno Nehmé as managing director. Previously, Sokolowsky was managing director and head of European media at Goldman Sachs while Nehmé worked at JPMorgan, where he led the strategic investments European team.

KKR has closed its previously announced acquisition of Landover, Maryland-based RBmedia, an audiobook publisher, from Shamrock Capital. No financial terms were disclosed.

Ardian has provided a unitranche facility to back HgCapital's investment in IT Relation, a Danish provider of managed IT services. No financial terms were disclosed.

Phoenix, Arizona-based Openforce, which provides a platform for onboarding, settlement and risk management solutions for the transportation and on-demand economy, has named Ryan Kelly as CEO. Previously, Kelly was president of LawLogix. Openforce is a portfolio company of Riverside Partners.

Black Dragon Capital has named Mohamed Abuagla, Sandy Nasseri and Spencer Stephens to its advisory board. Abuagla recently served as chief information and technology officer and executive director of technology and operations for Al Jazeera Media Network while Nasseri is president and co-founder of MelroseINC. And, Stephens operates Tech X Media.

The Super C Group, which is backed by Vision Growth Partners, has agreed to acquire 65 Michigan-based Supercuts salons from Regis Corporation. No financial terms were disclosed.

Ampersand Capital Partners has acquired NEOMED-LABS from the NEOMED Institute. No financial terms were disclosed. NEOMED-LABS is a provider of clinical immunology laboratory services for biologics drug development.

Noble Investment Group has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Perimeter Center. No financial terms were disclosed.

Belmont Instrument LLC, which is backed by Audax Private Equity, has acquired UK-based HC LIFE, a provider of healthcare equipment to hospitals, medical professionals, paramedics, the British Ministry of Defense, businesses and government agencies. No financial terms were disclosed.
