Ares EIF has acquired Paradigm Energy Partners from Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Irving, Texas, Paradigm Energy gathers and transports crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids in the Bakken and Eagle Ford Shales.

H.I.G. Capital has acquired Recochem from Swander Pace Capital. No financial terms were disclosed. Montreal-based Recochem is a maker of branded, private label and bulk transportation and household fluids for consumers and industrial customers worldwide.

Patron Capital has named Matteo Busà as a partner. Previously, he worked at GIC where he was a vice president.

JND Legal Administration, which is backed by Stone Point Capital, has acquired Lien Resolution Group, a consulting company that provides settlement solutions to law firms and corporate entities dealing with client healthcare. No financial terms were disclosed.

Genstar has closed its merger of portfolio companies CRF Health and Bracket. Both CRF Health and Bracket are clinical research tech companies. The newly combined company will be initially named CRF Bracket.

Valence Surface Technologies, which is backed by Trive Capital, has acquired Triumph Processing Inc from Triumph Group. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Lynwood, California, TPI will be renamed Valence Lynwood.

Elmtree Funds, a real estate private equity firm, has named Annie Hsieh as an executive vice president of investor relations. Previously, she worked at ZAIS Group where she covered U.S. institutional investors as a director on the client relations team.

Growth Catalyst Partners has made an investment in Austin, Texas-based Trendline Interactive, an email marketing agency. No financial terms were disclosed. In addition to the investment, Trendline has acquired Inbox Pros, an email deliverability and privacy consulting firm.
