Wynnchurch Capital has agreed to acquire Montreal-based Logistik Unicorp Inc, a provider of managed clothing services and uniform solutions. No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction that is being done in partnership with Louis Bibeau, the founder and CEO of Logistik.

GI Partners has closed its previously announced acquisition and merger of California Cryobank, a donor sperm and egg bank, and Cord Blood Registry, a stem cell collection and storage company. No financial terms were disclosed. The combined company will operate under the California Cryobank Life Sciences name. Harris Williams served as financial adviser to GI Partners on the deal while Paul Hastings provided legal advice.

Balfour Beatty Communities and Apex One Investment Partners have acquired Providence at Zephyr Ridge as part of a joint venture. No financial terms were disclosed. The Zephyrhills, Florida-based property, which will rebrand as Preserve at Zephyr Ridge, is comprised of 13 residential buildings.

Antares has provided senior secured credit facilities to back Sverica's recapitalization of Irvine, California-based Synoptek, a managed IT services provider. No financial terms were disclosed.

Gold Medal Group, which is backed by Kinderhook Industries, has made two acquisitions: Envirowaste LLC and Commonwealth Commons, both of which own and operate a solid waste management and resource recovery facility located in South Philadelphia. No financial terms were disclosed. Kirkland & Ellis LLP provided legal counsel to Kinderhook on the deal.

BlueMountain Capital Management LLC has named Scott Troeller as a portfolio manager. Previously, Troeller worked at Fir Tree Partners where he was a managing director and focused on private equity investments.

DataOnline, which is backed by FFL Partners, has acquired Independent Technologies, a provider of hardware, software and services for the telecommunications, oil and gas and power industries. No financial terms were disclosed.
