Clessidra and the Buccellati family have sold their eighty-five percent stake in Buccellati Holding Italia, an Italian jeweler. The buyer was Chinese conglomerate Gangtai Group. No financial terms were disclosed. As a result of the transaction, Clessidra and the Buccellati family will retain a 15 percent in Buccellati.
Actis and Mesoamerica have sold their stake in Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy to Corporacion Multi Inversiones. No financial terms were disclosed. GME is a renewable company in Central America.
United Flexible Technologies Inc, which is backed by Arlington Capital Partners, has acquired Laconia, New Hampshire-based Scotia Technology, a maker of fluid conveyance tubes and assemblies for commercial and military aircraft. No financial terms were disclosed. Scotia Technology was a portfolio company of Gemini Investors. BlackArch Partners provided financial advice to Gemini on the deal.
East West Partners, Aspen Skiing Company and KSL Capital Partners LLC have acquired the Colorado-based Snowmass base village project. No financial terms were disclosed. The transaction includes the Viceroy Hotel.
Clearlake Capital-backed Syncsort Inc has closed its previously announced buy of Trillium Software, a provider of data quality solutions. The seller was Harte Hanks Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. Foros provided financial advice to Harte Hanks on the deal while Credit Suisse, Evercore and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey did likewise for Syncsort.
Dunes Point Capital has acquired two Texas-based flooring products providers: Floors Inc and Malibu Acceptance Corp. No financial terms were disclosed. DPC will use these acquisitions to form a flooring platform. Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group served as financial adviser to DPC while MAB Corporate Advisors did likewise for Floors and Malibu.
Actis has sold its remaining minority stake in Umeme, a Uganda-based electricity distribution and supply company. No financial terms were disclosed on the sale that was made via the Ugandan and Kenyan capital markets.
