US Farathane Corporation, which is backed by The Gores Group, has acquired Tepso Plastics Mex, a producer of engineered plastic injection molded components and assemblies for the automotive sector. No financial terms were disclosed.
Antares Capital has beefed up its team with four new hires. The middle-market lender has named Mary Cecola as chief information officer, Bruce Frank as general counsel, Barry Giarraputo as chief financial officer and Lisa Jablonski as managing director and head of human resources. Prior to joining Antares, Cecola worked at Federal Home Loan Bank; Frank was at NXT Capital LLC; Giarraputo worked at 40 North Management; and Jablonski was at Calamos Asset Management.
TA Associates has agreed to invest $187 million in StorageCraft Technology Corp. Based in Draper, Utah and Cork, Ireland, StorageCraft is a provider of backup and recovery software. In addition to the funding, the company has named Matt Medeiros as chairman and CEO.
Greenridge Investment Partners will acquire Raleigh, North Carolina-based Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems Inc, a provider of repossession and remarketing software and services. Cadence Bank provided the senior debt financing while C3 Capital provided the subordinated debt.
Houston-based Invictus Energy LLC, a newly formed oil and gas company, has secured $150 million in funding. The investor was Kayne Anderson Energy Funds.
Invesco has acquired Silicon Valley-based Jemstep, a provider of financial advisor-focused digital solutions. No financial terms were disclosed.
Sun Capital Partners has promoted Jonathan Borell to managing director. Prior to joining the firm, Borrell worked in Raymond James & Associates' investment banking unit.
Fox Technologies Inc, which is backed by Parallax Capital Partners, has named Bryan Short as vice president of sales. Previously, Short worked at WorkForce Software where he served as vice president of sales and operations. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Fox Technologies is a provider of access management software.
Minneapolis-based Ten K Solar Inc, a provider of photovoltaic solutions for commercial rooftop, carports and ground-mount applications, has closed $25 million in funding. Goldman Sachs was the lead investor. Piper Jaffray advised Ten K Solar on the transaction.
