Avenue Capital to raise $1 bln for aircraft fund: Bloomberg

New York-based investment firm Avenue Capital Management is seeking to raise $1 billion for a new fund that will focus on buying aircraft for its leasing business, reported Bloomberg. The fund will target up to 50 planes.
