Barclays Capital Names U.S. Infrastructure Chief

Trace McCreary has joined Barclays Capital as a managing director and head of U.S. infrastructure finance. He previously was with Bear Stearns as a senior managing director in the firm's global industries group. 


Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Trace McCreary as Managing Director and Head of US Infrastructure Finance.  He is based in New York and reports to Rick Van Zijl, Managing Director and Co-Head of US Leveraged Finance. 


Mr. McCreary has primary responsibility for developing Barclays Capital's relationships in the expanding infrastructure sector and will focus on airports, energy generation, ports, rail, roads, social, telecommunications, and water and waste water infrastructure.

Trace McCreary was most recently a Senior Managing Director in the Global Industries Group at Bear Stearns where he oversaw Infrastructure coverage.  Previously, he was a Managing Director in Leveraged Finance Origination for Industrials at Credit Suisse, where he also covered infrastructure investors.  Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in the Industrials Group at Citigroup.
