Brookfield Asset Management is in talks about a potential joint offer with Cellnex Telecom to acquire Deutsche Telekom’s towers unit, Bloomberg reported. Any deal could value the business at about €20 billion ($21.4 billion), including debt. Brookfield could also end up pursuing a solo bid. Other private equity and infrastructure funds are studying offers for either a minority or controlling stake in the towers unit.
