Caisse de dépôt invests $8.2 mln to help grow Fix Auto Canada

Fix Auto Canada, a branded network of body shops, has received an $8.2 million investment from the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. The funding, which comes in the form of both equity and subordinated debt, is intended to help the company accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions and investments, domestically and around the world. Based in Montréal, Fix Auto currently operates 215 independently-owned centres across Canada that offer a full range of  collision repair services. Founded in 1992, the company is led by President Steve Leal.

Fix Auto Receives $8.2M Investment to Fuel Growth

Investment from La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec to help accelerate Collision Repair network growth in Canada and Internationally

Blainville (Quebec), July 6, 2015 – Steve Leal, President of Fix Auto Canada, is proud to announce that Fix Auto has secured an investment of $8.2M from La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, to help accelerate expansion of the network in Canada and globally.

The investment comes in the form of both equity share purchases and subordinated debt, and is to be split between Fix Auto’s Canadian and International operations, to help accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions and investments in Canada and around the world.
