Calera Capital buys majority stake in Carnegie Fabrics

Calera Capital has acquired a majority stake in Carnegie Fabrics, a provider of sustainable textiles and wall-coverings for the corporate, healthcare, hospitality and education building sectors. No financial terms were disclosed. As a result of the transaction, Cliff Goldman, president of Carnegie Fabrics, will retain a “significant” stake in the company.


SAN FRANCISCO & BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Calera Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in Carnegie Fabrics (“Carnegie”), a leading family-owned supplier and innovator of sustainable textiles and wallcoverings for the corporate, healthcare, hospitality, and education building markets. Cliff Goldman, Carnegie’s President, will retain a significant equity interest in the business. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
