Carbonite Expands Series B

Carbonite Inc., a Boston-based provider of online backup services for consumers and small businesses, has raised $5.2 million in additional Series B funding. It had held a $15 million first close last April. Four Rivers Partners led the tranche, and was joined by return backers 3i Group, Menlo Ventures and Common Angels. www.carbonite.com
