Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has named David Taylor, the former chairman and CEO of Procter & Gamble, as a senior advisor.
Taylor spent more than 40 years at P&G, serving as chairman and CEO from 2015 to 2022. Throughout his career at P&G, Mr. Taylor held leadership roles within both operations and marketing, managing P&G manufacturing sites, and eventually leading various consumer brands across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Taylor currently serves as a director of Delta Air Lines and Nexii, a sustainable building products company and Catalyst, a global nonprofit that supports organizations that advance women in the workplace. He is a member of the Board of Visitors at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Taylor recently served as the chairman of The Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a CEO-led, cross value chain initiative to advance solutions to eliminate unmanaged plastic waste in the environment and on the board of the U.S.-China Business Council.
He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Duke University.
