Charles Duff Joins Emissary Capital

Charles Duff has joined Emissary Capital Group, a merchant bank focused on China and India, as a managing director and head of capital markets. He previously was CEO of Mint Capital Partners, a New York-based merchant bank focused on the biotech and healthcare sectors.

Emissary Capital Group, LLC, a merchant banking firm focused on China and India, announced that Charles J. Duff has recently joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Duff will be expanding the firm’s expertise into new industries including the biotech and healthcare industries.

Mr. Duff joins Emissary in the New York office from Mint Capital Partners LLC, a merchant bank specializing in biotechnology and healthcare companies, where he served as CEO. Throughout his career he has executed various types of financing transactions and has acted as investment banker and advisor to numerous private and publicly traded companies. “Charles brings significant investment banking expertise with emerging growth companies, especially in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Now that our research department has been fully integrated into our business model, Emissary is focusing on the expansion of its industry expertise to assist a larger range of growth companies,” commented Amit Tandon, Emissary’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Duff has spent time at boutique and mid-tier venture capital, private equity, and investment banking firms. Prior to Mint Capital Partners LLC, Mr. Duff served as Senior Managing Director of New Castle Financial Services LLC and Senior Vice President of Advanced Equities, Inc. Mr. Duff currently serves on the Board of Directors of Omnimmune Corp., a publicly traded biotechnology company.
