Verified Identity, a New York-based operator of the “Clear” system that allows members to pass quickly through airport security, has raised $44.4 million. Spark Capital led the round, and was joined by Syncom Venture Partners and return backers Lockheed Martin, GE Security, Baker Capital, Lehman Brothers and CEO Steven Brill.
