Clearview Capital Buys Pyramid Healthcare

Clearview Capital in July acquired Pyramid Healthcare, an Altoona, Penn.-based provider of drug/alcohol and mental health treatment centers, the firm said. Terms of the deal were not released. Pyramid Healthcare operates 21 treatment facilities throughout Pennsylvania. Clearview Capital is a Connecticut-based private equity firm.

Clearview Capital today announced that it has acquired Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. Headquartered in Altoona, PA, Pyramid is a provider of drug/alcohol and mental health treatment for adults and adolescents with 21 treatment facilities throughout Pennsylvania.
Clearview Capital is a Connecticut-based private equity firm with investments in various industries including healthcare services. Clearview’s portfolio includes Senior Care Centers of America, the country’s second largest provider of medically intensive adult day health and social services with 27 facilities in four states. Clearview specializes in partnering with talented management teams to accelerate the growth of their businesses and to expand their services and operations in new markets.

The Corporate offices of Pyramid will remain in Altoona, PA. Pyramid employs 574 people throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Facilities include residential drug and alcohol treatment for adults and adolescents, outpatient offices, therapeutic schools, methadone clinics, a group home and a school for autistic children.
