Cogent Partners has promoted Chris Bonfield to the post of director, based in Dallas; and Dominik Woessner to director in London. The firm also announced Thursday that it has promoted Briac Houtteville to vice president in London. Cogent Partners is a private equity-focused investment bank.
Cogent Partners, a private equity-focused investment bank, announced today that it has promoted Chris Bonfield to Director in Dallas and Dominik Woessner to Director in London. Additionally, Cogent has promoted Briac Houtteville to Vice President in London.
“Chris, Dominik, and Briac have each contributed meaningfully to Cogent’s success since joining the firm,” said Todd Miller, a Managing Director of Cogent Partners. “Their continued commitment to client service in their new roles will help ensure that Cogent maintains its position as the global leader in secondary market investment banking,” said Miller.
Mr. Bonfield joined Cogent Partners in 2007 from Bank of America, where he was involved with underwriting and monitoring debt transactions for public and private media and telecommunications clients. Chris holds a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Texas. Mr. Bonfield is also a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Woessner joined Cogent Partners in 2007 from Greenpark Capital, where he performed due diligence and analysis on secondary private equity transactions. Dominik holds a BA in Business Administration from the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education in Germany and an MBA/MIM from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Woessner is also a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Houtteville joined Cogent Partners in 2009 from Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services group, where he advised private equity funds and corporate clients on corporate finance, transaction support and restructuring issues. Briac graduated from the ESSEC Business School and the INPG Technology Institute.
