Cogent Staffs Up

Bradley Critchell and Andy Nick have joined Cogent Partners as a New York-based director and Dallas-based associate, respectively. Britchell previously was an I-banker with Credit Suisse, while Nick had been with Citigroup Global Markets.

Cogent Partners, a private equity-focused investment bank, announced today that Bradley Critchell has joined the company as a Director. He will be based in the firm's New York office. Additionally, Cogent Partners announced that Andy Nick has joined the firm as an Associate in the Dallas office.

Mr. Critchell brings to Cogent ten years of investment banking experience predominantly from the investment banking group at Credit Suisse, where he provided M&A advisory, debt financing and equity placement solutions to major Insurance, Commercial Banking and Specialty Finance companies.

Mr. Critchell holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A. from Brown University.

Mr. Nick joins Cogent from Citigroup Global Markets, where he was an Associate in Investment Banking and advised clients in the consumer, energy, media, and technology sectors on strategic and financing alternatives. Previously Mr. Nick was a Senior Associate in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young LLP, where he performed business and intangible asset valuations.

Mr. Nick holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in finance and entrepreneurship from Baylor University.
