Hibernia Networks, which is owned by Columbia Ventures Corp. and funds managed by Constellation Growth Capital, has acquired Atrato IP Networks. No financial terms were disclosed. Headquartered in The Netherlands, Atrato IP Networks is a provider of IP-transit and carrier services.
SUMMIT, NJ & AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS– AUGUST 29, 2013 – Hibernia Networks, a provider of global telecommunications services, announces its acquisition of Atrato IP Networks, a leading provider of IP-transit and carrier services. The acquisition will bring enhanced capabilities and expanded product depth to the already robust Hibernia services suite, further enabling high capacity, secure connectivity options globally, while maintaining the highest level of customer support and business continuity throughout the combined networks.
Providing high performance and cost-effective services to support high traffic businesses, Atrato’s flexible solutions include IP-transit, remote IX and managed services. The company has a global presence across fifteen countries worldwide throughout the U.S. and Europe.
