Crescent Capital adds new managing director to team

Crescent Capital Group LP, an alternative credit investment firm, has named Mark du Four as a managing director focused on the private capital markets. Previously, he worked at NewStar Financial where he was head of capital markets.


LOS ANGELES—October 17, 2018—Crescent Capital Group LP, a leading alternative credit investment firm, announced today that Mark du Four has joined the company as a managing director focusing on private capital markets. Mr. du Four will be responsible for sourcing middle market lending opportunities for the Crescent platform and providing capital markets and syndication capabilities. Crescent has been an active participant in the private and public alternative credit markets for more than 25 years and is adding resources to meet the needs of its clients that are increasingly turning to Crescent for its ability to source and diligence credits both in the public markets as well as through its proprietary network of sponsors and non-sponsored middle market companies.

Mr. du Four brings more than 30 years of below investment grade credit market experience to Crescent. Previously, he was Head of Capital Markets for NewStar Financial, where he served for 14 years. He has also held senior level roles in capital markets and originations at FleetBoston, Bank of Montreal and Chase.
