David Dvorin has joined Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe as a senior operating executive, with a focus on revenue and pricing issues for WCAS portfolio companies. He previously was VP of gobal strategic pricing for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (the “Firm”), the largest private equity investor exclusively focused on information/business services and healthcare, today announced that it has named David Dvorin as a Senior Operating Executive, Revenue and Pricing. Mr. Dvorin was most recently Vice President, Global Strategic Pricing of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led the development and implementation of industry-leading strategic pricing tools and methodologies across the company’s thirteen divisions.
Mr. Dvorin will be a member of the WCAS Resources Group, which is currently comprised of 19 professionals who utilize their industry expertise and relationships to assist in sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and implementing operational initiatives within the Firm’s portfolio companies. Over the last several years, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe has significantly expanded its Resources Group team.

Mr. Dvorin has over ten years of pricing experience, having previously worked as Director of Pricing at American Greetings and as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Dvorin received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
