David Russ Leaves Dartmouth for Credit Suisse

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) hired David Russ, former chief investment officer of Dartmouth College’s Office of Investments, as head of a new investment strategies unit, Switzerland’s second-largest bank said on Tuesday.

Mark Baumgartner, a former senior portfolio strategist at Morgan Stanley (MS.N), will also join the strategy group, which will be part of Credit Suisse’s asset management division.

Russ directed investment strategy and asset allocation at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire, and was responsible for its $3.5 billion endowment. (Reporting by Juan Lagorio; Editing by Gary Hill)
