DreamBox Learning, an intelligent adaptive learning company has named Jason Bedford as vice president of sales and client success. DreamBox Learning closed its Series A round of funding in December 2011 led by private investors Reed Hastings, John Doerr and Deborah Quazzo and GSV Capital Corp.
DreamBox Learning®, (www.dreambox.com), the leading intelligent adaptive learning™ company, today announced that Jason Bedford has been named Vice President of Sales and Client Success. Mr. Bedford joins the company with more than a decade of experience in sales, strategy and operations at leading education technology solutions providers. He will report directly to President and CEO Jessie Woolley-Wilson.
In his new role, Mr. Bedford will be responsible for national sales, training and client success as well as strategic business development efforts. He will oversee sales teams at DreamBox Learning’s headquarters in Bellevue as well as the newly established sales office in Raleigh, North Carolina. The company recently expanded to the east coast to help drive acceleration of the company’s growth and better serve its national institutional customers and prospects.

Most recently, Mr. Bedford served as Vice President of Global Sales for Blackboard Connect. Prior to that, he was General Manager and Executive Vice President at Alert Now, a top alert notifications solutions supplier for K-12 school districts nationwide. Mr. Bedford started his career in North Carolina’s Wake County Public Schools where he taught middle school social studies and technology for more than five years, a post that gave rise to his passion for improving educational opportunities for all children.
