Edward Rhyne has joined Fulbright & Jaworski LLP as a private equity-focused partner in the firm's corporate office. He has previously was a partner with Haynes and Boone LLP.
A private equity lawyer who has served as the general counsel for two public companies and their private equity firm sponsor has joined Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s corporate practice.
Edward Rhyne brings decades of experience handling corporate work, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to private equity, securities work and fund formations. He joins Fulbright as a partner from Haynes and Boone, LLP

Rhyne brings substantial experience with corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He focuses on private equity, and has represented clients in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and the acquisition of a major league baseball team.
As the in-house general counsel for two public companies that were sponsored by a private equity firm, Rhyne implemented and was responsible for corporate capital financing transactions, security offerings, an extensive mergers and acquisitions program, loan and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and public reporting.
