Electra Partners, a UK private equity fund with £1bn under management, has invested to acquire a significant interest in Steadfast Capital Fund I.
Electra Partners’ investment and commitment to Steadfast Capital Fund I totals €45m and sees Steadfast become Electra’s German investment partner of choice.
Electra Partners already has investment partners in France, with TCR Capital, Italy, with Sinergo SGR and Spain, with N+1.
Steadfast Capital backs buyouts of medium-sized businesses in Germany and the Netherlands.
“This investment offers Electra Partners the opportunity to invest further in the German market and is consistent with our strategy to build successful partnerships with high quality managers in the European mid-market buyout sector,” commented Tim Syder, partner at Electra Partners.
