VIA Motors Inc., a maker of electric trucks and SUVs, has raised $5.3 million of a targeted equity round of $10 million, according to an SEC filing. The capital came from 44 investors, but none was named in the filing.
VIA, based in Orem, Utah, was launched last year by Raser Technologies Inc.
