Ember Infrastructure Management LP has hired Caleb Powers as a principal and member of its investment team. Previously, Power worked at The Carlyle Group where he was a vice president and member of the investment team.

NEW YORK, October 20, 2020 – Ember Infrastructure Management, LP (“Ember”) today announced the hiring of Caleb Powers as Principal and member of its investment team. Caleb is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company oversight.

Prior to joining Ember, Caleb served as a Vice President and member of the investment team at The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC, where he was responsible for origination, structuring, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of investments primarily in the water and waste sectors, as well as the energy and agriculture sectors, for Carlyle’s Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. Until 2018, Caleb was a Vice President with Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”) in New York, where he worked alongside several other members of Ember’s investment team. Prior to joining GIP in 2012, Caleb worked in the Natural Resources Group at Deutsche Bank in New York, focusing on the power, utilities, and renewable energy sectors. Caleb received a B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Caleb is Ember’s third new hire during the last quarter, preceded by Amaury Normand, Associate, who joined Ember from Rubicon Capital Advisors in New York, and Kristel Ermel, Director of Finance, who joined Ember from The Beekman Group in New York.
