Encore Consumer Capital has promoted Bill Shen to managing director. Shen joined Encore in 2008 as a vice president.

Encore Consumer Capital, a private equity firm that invests in leading consumer products companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Shen to Managing Director.
Bill joined Encore in 2008 as a Vice President. Since then he has made meaningful contributions within the firm, and has also been a visible presence in the industry. Bill played an important role in Thanasi Foods, which was sold last year to Conagra Brands. He currently serves on the boards of Ancient Harvest, Brownie Brittle, California Splendor, and Navitas Organics. Bill began his career at Swander Pace & Company advising clients in the consumer products industry. He received his B.A. from Stanford University.

Encore is also promoting Paul Rivenburgh to Senior Associate. Paul joined Encore in 2016 as an Associate. He has assumed increasing responsibilities and has become an integral member of the investment staff at Encore, working closely with Thanasi Foods and Cece’s Veggie Co. Paul was previously with Freeman Spogli & Co. and received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
