Eurazeo has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea. Solomon Moos will run the new office.
Paris, September 23, 2019 – The Eurazeo Group is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Seoul to bolster its teams in Asia.
Present in China since 2013, the Group is strengthening its Asian foothold with a new office at the Seoul Finance Center. This new opening is part of a strategy to speed up Eurazeo’s expansion in Asian markets and facilitate access to such markets for the companies it supports.
Eurazeo is already very active in the South Korean market through Idinvest Partners, which has maintained close relations for several years with South Korean institutional investors, such as pension funds, businesses and other leading institutional clients. The Seoul office will enable the Eurazeo Group to expand its base in Asia and get closer to its growing pool of institutional investors.
This office will be run by Solomon Moos, who has been in charge of Corporate Development Asia at Idinvest since 2016. Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former French Prime Minister and Vice-Chairman of the Idinvest Supervisory Board and H.E. Mr. Philippe Lefort, the French Ambassador in Republic of Korea will be present alongside the company’s management team at the office’s inauguration on September 24, 2019.
Virginie Morgon, CEO of Eurazeo Group declared: “Following the success of our Chinese office which has backed our portfolio companies in Asian markets since 2013, I take great pride today in inaugurating with the Idinvest teams our Group’s second office in Asia, a strategic global region for the development of the companies we support.”
Christophe Bavière, CEO of Idinvest Partners, stated: “The opening of this new office is a key milestone in our international expansion. Based on our relations with the Asian markets, including South Korea, we are convinced of the need for a multi-local approach to build bridges between investors in Asia and European high-growth potential firms.”
