Feihe International to buy Vitamin World

Vitamin World Inc
said Dec 22 that it finalized its strategic restructuring and will be acquired by Feihe International Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Centre Lane acquired Vitamin World in 2016. Vitamin World, which sells vitamins and nutritional supplements in the U.S., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September.

Feihe International, who just celebrated 55 years in business will immediately partner with Vitamin World management to work synergistically on a unified growth plan. The U.S. brand is known for offering the industry’s highest quality products for over 40 years.

Stores are located in major markets such as Woodbury Commons in New York, Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles, Saw Grass Mills in Florida, Seattle and Las Vegas Premium Outlets.
