FleetPride Buys Multibearings Service Co.

FleetPride, an independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has acquired Multibearings Service Co., which has one location in Hialeah, Florida. No financial terms were disclosed. FleetPride is owned by Investocrp, Banc of America Capital Investors and company management.

In support of the company’s strategic growth plan, FleetPride, Inc., the nation’s largest independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, announced today that it had completed the acquisition of Multibearings Service Co., Inc. Multibearings Service has one location in the Miami-Dade / Broward County area – a 10,000 square foot facility in Hialeah, Florida.

Multibearings Service, owned by father and son Sergio and Sandro Valencia, has been in business since 1985. Sandro Valencia will join the FleetPride team as the Hialeah Branch Manager. FleetPride has extended employment offers to all Multibearings Service’s employees.
