Law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP has named Roger Singer as a partner in its investment funds practice. Previously, Singer was a partner at Clifford Chance.

September 8, 2020 – New York. Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Roger Singer has joined the firm as a partner in the New York office. Singer, formerly a partner at Clifford Chance, will continue his investment funds practice.

About Roger Singer
Singer regularly advises sponsors of private equity, real estate, natural resources, infrastructure and debt funds, as well as funds of funds, with a focus on real estate funds. His clients range from first time fund sponsors to the asset management divisions of major financial services firms.

Before joining Gibson Dunn, Singer was the head of the U.S. Private Funds Group at Clifford Chance, where he practiced since 1996 and as a partner since 2006.

Singer received his law degree in 1996 from the Columbia University School of Law where he was recognized as a Stone Scholar. He earned an A.B. in politics with a certificate in American Studies from Princeton University in 1993.
