PRESS RELEASE

GREENWICH, CT and LONG CRENDON, U.K. – Great Point Partners (“GPP”) today announced that Softbox Systems (“Softbox”) a GPP II portfolio company has acquired TP3 Global (“TP3”) based in Redditch, U.K. TP3 is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of thermal protection covers for the pharmaceutical industry, with operations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (“EMEA”) and Asia Pacific.

The combination of Softbox and TP3 Global’s industry-leading passive temperature-control solutions (Silverskin, SilverQuilt, and PalletQuilt) will expand Softbox’s product portfolio, technical capabilities and geographic footprint
Noah Rhodes, Managing Director at GPP, commented “The acquisition of TP3 Global is important as customers continue to see tightening regulations for their controlled room temperature (“CRT”) shipments. TP3’s products address the fluctuations in ambient room temperature shipments and are used to protect pharmaceuticals that need to be kept between 15-25°C, 2-40°C, 2-30°C, or short durations of 2-8°C.”

Wayne Langlois, President of Softbox, commented “Clive Wheeldon and his leadership team, TP3’s global brands in Silverskin, and its global manufacturing infrastructure will remain in place with the combination of Softbox and TP3 Global into one Softbox enterprise. We now provide expanded global leadership for our customers in Europe, the U.S., India and Latin America.”

Clive Wheeldon, President of TP3 Global commented: “The strong cultural fit, complementary products and the potential of combining the outstanding technical capabilities of each company made the decision to join Softbox the next logical step in the development of TP3 Global. The combined global footprint is unrivaled within the Temperature Controlled Packaging Industry, enabling us to provide unsurpassed levels of product availability on a local basis.”
